Meaghan Chitwood

Raised in Union Grove, AL, Meaghan Chitwood brings over 20 years of business ownership experience to Madison Gynecology & Wellness. With a degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, she never expected to find herself in healthcare. However, as Dr. Murray’s sister and biggest supporter, she saw an opportunity to help create a thriving medical practice that not only serves patients exceptionally but also allows her sister to achieve the work-life harmony she envisioned. From the initial idea to opening day and beyond, Meaghan has been instrumental in building the business foundation of the practice.

With a deep passion for creating community and positive workplace experiences, Meaghan believes that when the team enjoys what they do, it reflects in the care they provide. She thrives on the challenge of learning something new every day and is committed to ensuring the continued success of the practice for both patients and staff.

Meaghan and her husband, Shawn, live in Huntsville with their two children, Elin (ee'lin) and Keegan. In her free time, she enjoys slalom water skiing, snow skiing, and supporting Elin’s volleyball and Keegan’s soccer pursuits.
