A Huntsville native, Dr. Murray received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and her medical degree from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. She then completed her Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. While there, Dr. Murray was honored with their “Faculty Excellence Award” and “Teacher of the Month Award”.
Dr. Murray has been in practice since 2011. Before moving to work in the Decatur/Madison area, she was in private practice in North Carolina, while her husband served in the Marine Corps as a helicopter pilot. She is currently on staff at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children and Madison Surgery Center.
She and her husband, Matt, have two children. In her free time, Dr. Murray enjoys running, snow skiing and watching her daughter play club soccer and her son play flag football, travel baseball, and basketball.
